Do you have a dog that behaves in the class or on the training ground but when it comes to the
real world it’s a whole different ball game?

‘Training in 3D’ is a systematic approach to training reliable performance in the face of increasing
distance, duration and distraction – the 3D’s.

Who is this for?
‘Training in 3D’ is perfect for pet owners, sports enthusiasts, working dog handlers, dog
professionals and operational handlers. If you seek to develop skills that you can apply to assist
your dog to navigate situations where distance, distraction or duration are a challenge then this is
the course for you!

What will you learn?

  • A systematic approach to training reliable performance.
  • Six variables that control your dog’s perception of stimuli and how you can use them to your
    advantage.
  • How you and your dog can learn to love living in the ‘stretch zone’ where real growth for both
    you and your dog occurs.
  • Recognise trigger thresholds and learn how to stay below them.
  • Teach your dog to recover if it goes over threshold into reactivity.

How will the workshop be conducted?
The workshop will entail a mixture of hands on exercises, lectures accompanied with video,
slides, and live demonstrations.
